CMAW Training & Reimbursement Form

CMAW offers an Incentive Bursary in the amount of $1000 to qualifying apprentices. Please contact your Local Union to see whether you are entitled to apply for the Bursary.

The deadline for tuition bursaries applications is April 30th.

What to expect

A variety of programs

David G. Flynn Memorial Bursary Application Form 

Construction, Maintenance and Allied Workers Canada (CMAW Canada) has dedicated an Annual Bursary Program to honour the memory of Dave Flynn. The bursaries of $500.00 each will be awarded to six successful candidates each year (one for each district area). The Education Committee will choose one applicant with the best essay who will receive $1,000.00.

The deadline for applications is June 28 2024.

NOTE: The application now requires the address of the applicant.

Government of Canada Apprenticeship Incentive Programs

Effective January 1, 2007, apprentices completing their first or second level of a Red Seal apprenticeship program are eligible for a $1,000 Apprenticeship Incentive Grant (AIG). Please note that only those apprentices demonstrating progression on or after January 1, 2007 will be considered eligible.

CCU/CSC annual bursaries

The CCU/CSC is offering annual bursaries of $1000.00 for dependent children of members of unions belonging to the CCU/CSC for the purpose of furthering their post-secondary education.
