A GROUNDBREAKING & HISTORIC MOMENT FOR CMAW CANADA!
CMAW Canada attended the 52nd Annual Convention of the BC Building Trades held in Victoria, BC on March 9-12, 2025.
This event was more than just a gathering – it was a moment of representation on a whole new level. CMAW Canada was invited to join the BC Building Trades and, moving forward, will represent the craft of carpentry at the table. Michele Banducci (Local 1995 business rep.), Barbara Bachmeier (Local 1998 member), Mark Miller (Local 2300 business rep, and CMAW Canada’s First Vice-President), and Jessie Gregory (CMAW Canada’s Secretary Treasurer) were grateful to be present for the warm welcome into the BC Building Trades. This recognition has been a long time in the making, and we are so proud to take this step forward for our trade and our members.
Yes, we have done well on our own, and will do even better collaborating with the BC Building Trades.
