Job Fair at Saskatchewan Polytechnic

CMAW Local 99 President Brandon Polson and Bob Stewart had an incredible time at the March 23rd job fair at Saskatchewan Polytechnic in Saskatoon, SK! This event focused on the trades people currently taking apprenticeship programs as well as trade pre employment courses. 

Our CMAW representatives had the opportunity to educate the students about who we are and what value we can bring to their careers, and Bob in particular was great at informing the students of the benefits of our union and how unifying workers creates a better life for everyone involved. We made some great connections, both with students and other organizations. 

Brandon and Bob even managed to connect with the winner of the DCM draw, and were able to personally hand her the RUSH tickets she won! After the long day, they enjoyed some local craft beer—well earned!
