Statement on Administrative Professionals’ Day 2022

27 Apr2022

Recognition deserved everyday of the year.

President Chris Wasilenchuk and Board of The Construction Maintenance and Allied Workers Canada (CMAW) wish to recognize the professionals who keep an office running smoothly every day on this year’s International Administrative Professionals’ Day.

Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have had to learn new ways of working. Whether remote, hybrid, or with social distancing in the office, our collective success has been made smoother through the commitment and dedication of our administrative professionals. Without the adaptability and resources of administrative professionals, CMAW would not be able to effectively deliver the support it provides to members.

“CMAW believes in recognizing the value of ALL working people.”

Chris Wasilenchuk, CMAW President

“Whether workers are on the tools or on the keys, the value of organizations are its people. CMAW has incredibly dedicated and skilled administrative professionals who work daily to answer the needs of our members. I thank them on behalf of all our members and our board. We thank all administrative professionals within CMAW and across the country.”

Administrative Professionals’ Day is part of the full week called Administrative Professionals’ Week and has been honouring administrative professionals in one form or another since first recognized in the USA in 1952. It is celebrated annually on the Wednesday of the last full week of April.
